Payment & Refund Policy
This policy explains how appointment payments, refunds, rescheduling credits and payment-related issues are handled by The Skin Lab Jamaica.
Important Payment Rule
Consultation and procedure booking payments are generally non-refundable once the booking has been successfully completed, except where The Skin Lab Jamaica determines that a refund or credit is appropriate.

Appointment Payments
Certain appointments require payment before the appointment can be confirmed.
The applicable price will be displayed during the booking process before the client proceeds to payment.
Where a procedure price has not yet been confirmed, the appointment may be submitted as a request and payment instructions may be provided after the clinic confirms the applicable procedure price.

Secure Payment Processing
Online payments may be processed through an authorized third-party payment provider.
Clients may be redirected from The Skin Lab Jamaica website to the payment provider's secure environment to enter payment-card information.
A booking is not considered paid merely because a client reaches the payment page. Payment must be successfully confirmed by the payment processor.

Non-Refundable Booking Payments
Consultation and procedure booking payments are generally non-refundable.
This includes circumstances where the client later chooses not to attend the appointment, subject to the cancellation and rescheduling rules published by The Skin Lab Jamaica.
A valid reschedule made in accordance with the Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy does not normally require a new payment, provided the client remains within the permitted rescheduling limit.

Maximum Reschedules
A consultation or procedure appointment may be rescheduled a maximum of two (2) times.
After the second permitted reschedule, the original payment cannot automatically be transferred to another appointment.
If the client is unable to attend the third scheduled appointment, a new booking and new applicable payment will normally be required.

No-Shows and Late Cancellations
Where a client fails to attend an appointment without appropriate notice, the appointment may be treated as a no-show.
Payments associated with no-shows or late cancellations may be forfeited.
A new booking and payment may be required before another appointment can be confirmed.

Clinic-Initiated Changes
If The Skin Lab Jamaica needs to cancel or materially change an appointment, the clinic will make reasonable efforts to provide an alternative appointment.
A clinic-initiated reschedule will not count toward the client's two permitted reschedules.
Where the clinic is unable to provide the service within a reasonable alternative arrangement, The Skin Lab Jamaica may provide an appropriate refund or credit.

Duplicate or Incorrect Charges
If you believe that you were charged more than once or charged an incorrect amount, please contact The Skin Lab Jamaica promptly.
We may request your booking reference, transaction reference and other information necessary to investigate the payment.
Clients should not make repeated payment attempts where a transaction appears to have succeeded but confirmation has been delayed.

Payment Disputes
Clients are encouraged to contact The Skin Lab Jamaica first if there is a question or concern regarding an appointment payment.
This allows the clinic to review the booking and payment record and determine whether the matter can be resolved directly.
Acceptance of This Policy
By completing an appointment payment, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and accepted the applicable payment, refund, cancellation and rescheduling conditions.
